Boo

Yesterday my husband and I were Boo'd. It was pretty cute actually. What happens is someone anonymously leaves a bag of Halloween goodies on your porch along with a little poem that explains what to do. Attached to the bag is a paper ghost with the word "BOO" on it. You are supposed to put your ghost on your front door and then BOO some more of your neighbors. The goal being for everyone to have a BOO ghost on their door by Halloween night.

The funny thing is, yesterday I was sitting at my desk and the front porch window is in our office. So I saw my friend's little girl. Sneak up onto the porch and leave the bag. It was the cutest thing. After she dropped it off I could see her running down the street. It will be fun to tell her all about my BOO bag tonight when we go to Six Flags because I know she will just giggle the whole time I'm telling her about it. Kids are cute!

So last night, hubby and I went to the store to buy Halloween candy to make Boo bags. Then we delivered them. It was fun. Hard to believe we still enjoy playing ding-dong-ditch. But we had a lot of fun doing it.

I also got sort of an odd compliment today. I was talking with some friends this morning and one of them has a sick child and was talking about the medicine she has to take. I said...oh that's the stuff that smells good. And then she gives me this strange look....because I don't have any kids. So I explain to her that I used to work as a pharmacy tech when I was in college and used to love to mix the kids meds because they smelled so good. Then she looks at me and says.....sometimes I forget that you are actually older than you look. I replied with....yeah, I actually know a few things. Then we just all started laughing. She always thinks I am so much younger than her...when she's really only 3 years older than me.
