Crappy day

I'm kind of having a crappy day today. It didn't help matters that when I got in the car this morning there was absolutely no gas in it. So, I called the hubby to "Thank" him for leaving me with an empty tank. He assures me there is enough gas in the car to make it to the gas station. Gee Thanks. I get to the gas station and it just so happens that the one I pulled into was having some sort of issue with their power. Meaning, I can't get gas there. Great. I have to get back in the car and go to another gas station to get my damn gas. I pump my gas, use the pay at the pump thing and then it says, I need to go inside to get my receipt. What? Isn't the whole purpose of pay at the pump, to pay at the pump and not have to go inside.

Anyway, I realize how dumb this sounds. Afterall, if my biggest problem today is that I had to pump my own gas. I have it pretty good. I'm just irritated. I have tons of things to do and don't really want to do any of them.

How pathetic am I?

I am sitting here in my office looking out the window........just waiting for the UPS man to deliver my catalogs. It's driving me nuts. Can't decide yet if I'm going to give him a hug when he gets here....or tackle him in the driveway and take my box.

Baseball

So, we went to the baseball game tonight. Usually I have a lot of fun at games. I had more fun hanging out with my friends tonight than actually watching the game. It was horrible. We lost bad.

Why can't I just know everything?

Well, I surfed around this morning for a couple of hours to try and find some info on how to customize my blog. The only conclusion I have come to is: I don't know what the heck I am doing! The lazy side of me wants to give up and say forget it. My stubborn side wants to keep searching and find a way to do it myself. I'll probably end up going for the middle of the road approach and asking for help. I know what I want...I just don't know how to implement the idea. As with most things with me. I often come up with some really cool ideas, but don't know how to actually make them happen.

Sundays

Today has been a great day. Woke up...decided to eat some yummy chocolate pudding & cool whip for breakfast a.k.a. the breakfast of champions. Didn't really do much of anything except hang out with the hubby :-), listen to my new Offspring cd, surf the Internet, watch a movie, order pizza for lunch/dinner 'cause neither one of us wanted to cook. Perfect! The only place we went today was church and then back home. I love lazy days like today.

Will Ferrell

I went and saw the movie Bewitched today. It was cute. I pretty much like anything with Will Ferrell in it. I realized today that I've never seen him in a movie where he didn't a)sing in the movie or b)show his butt...both of which he did in this movie.

98. Thanksgiving 2004 was spent at the Dallas Cowboy game. That was a lot of fun.
99. I only like to watch sports if I'm at the actual event. I like to watch the crazy fans and scream along with them.

Why Bashful Blue?

I decided to start my own blog today. No special reason. I just needed a place to ramble. If anyone wants to read, fine. If not, fine. I decided on the name Bashful Blue because by nature I am a shy person. Anyone who knows me, knows that my favorite color is purple. I was thinking about the new SU colors coming out (I'm a SU demo) and decided Bashful Blue described my personality best. I also like to quote the line from Old School "You're my boy, Blue" quite frequently.
