I have few minutes to spare...so here I am updating my blog. I must warn you...it will just consist of whatever comes to mind because I really don't have anything specific to write about.

Thanksgiving day was a blast. Every year we go to the Cowboy game with my brother-in-law and his wife. It was a great day....not too cold (thank goodness) perfect for tailgating and the game was actually a pretty good one. I was nervous about going...because I had gotten sick the night before and in the morning before the game. But baby was good and all was well for the rest of the day. After the game, we went to hubby's parents house for Thanksgiving dinner. My mother-in-law loves to entertain. So it's pretty funny to go from tailgating earlier in the day to eating off grandma's china a few hours later. The rest of the weekend was pretty cool too. Hubby and I hit a few stores to do some Christmas shopping on Friday. Saturday and Sunday we did absolutely NOTHING and it was wonderful. Hubby's been wanting a weekend like that for a while. He said "It was everything I thought doing nothing could be!" :)

These past few days...I've been starting to get some energy back. Yeah! But morning sickness usually gets the best of me every other day or so. But I'm getting used to it. And Hubby has done a wonderful job of taking care of me. I love how he can make me laugh. Especially when I am going through the most unglamourous of moments.

Well, I think I've done enough babbling for the moment.

Well, this past weekend was very uneventful and wonderful. I really enjoy those weekends where we have no plans (they are hard to come by). We took a pass on the TCU game Saturday and turns out it was quite a game. TCU beat UNLV 51-3. Yesterday the hubby and I watched movies and just hung out. It was really nice until around 11:15 p.m. when I got had my first dose of morning sickness. It just doesn't happen in the morning. What fun. But it's over now and hopefully won't return anytime soon. I'm learning to live with the constant state of nausea. Sounds strange, but what can you do.

Hubby took the day off from work today and we went to the Dr. We had our first look at the little peanut. We also were able to hear the heartbeat. It was absolutely amazing. After the Dr. we went out for a yummy lunch.

Well, I'm going to take the puppy to the park to play. It's a beautiful day outside.

Ever have one of those days...when you just know that you look hot? I'm having one today. :)

I didn't post much last week...mostly due to the fact that I've had never ending nausea. I'll try to post more this week. But anyway, It's a gorgeous day outside (it's in the 80's) & I'm in a fabulous mood. More later...I'm off to the dentist and then having lunch with the hubby.
