Merry Christmas!

I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Eve! It seems too soon. Maybe it's the weather that is making it seem less like Christmas right now. It's 69 degrees today. A beautiful day...hubby is going to fire up the grill tonight...YUM! Or maybe it's that I haven't been in my usual festive shopping spirit. I guess morning sickness will do that to a person. I did manange to get all of my shopping done. But I was speedy shopper this year...I made a list..stuck to it..in and out of the store. No wandering about the stores. Hubby loved this...it was his dream come true. Me, I'm just glad I got it done. I get tired so easily it's ridiculous. But I must admit...I do miss the wandering around the stores.

I thought I was finally over the worst of the morning sickness this week. I hadn't been sick for days, energy was good, I was actually getting things done. Then BAM last night it made it's reappearance. I have been so sick last night and today it's crazy. Good news is...mom is coming tomorrow for Christmas so I will have her to take care of me... :)

Last night was supposed to be a big night for the hubby and I. We had plans to go out to a nice dinner and a concert. Unfortunately, the icy weather prevented us from going out. Sometimes being responsible just plain sucks. Lucky for us...we read in the paper today that there will be a make up concert in January. Woo Hoo! So all is not lost.

Hubby has been working from home yesterday and today. The ice should be gone by tomorrow so he should be able to go into the office. But I must admit it has been nice having him here.
